October 4th, 2007 - A TRUE ROCKER BEHIND KUDOS ROCK LEGEND

Huntington Beach, California – October 4th, 2007 – Zero G Games and independent game developer Positech Games have followed their success of the original KUDOS game by adding another hit title to the KUDOS franchise, releasing game: Kudos Rock Legend.

Cliff Harris, known amongst the development community as “Cliffski”, has been a rocker from the early 80’s where he played lead guitar in a few rock bands. Cliffski describes his early band days, “my two favorite bands at the time were Judas priest and Metallica. I was inspired to make Kudos Rock Legend because trying to take a small garage band to stardom is challenging, fun and very exciting which are also the main three ingredients you need for creating an entertaining game.”

Following the success of the original KUDOS game, several online portals have released Kudos Rock Legend; amongst them Yahoo! Games, Big Fish Games, iWin and several others, where the game has quickly become a stellar success in sheer number of units sold.

“I went through so much grief as a musician it may at times sound like a sequel to Spinal Tap,” chuckles Cliffski as he recollects events from the 80’s. “I remember playing a gig in Cheltenham where the drummer’s bass drum shuffled forwards, towards the audience. We had to push it back between every song we played that night. I also recall getting two dozen band t-shirts printed, then realizing they had a spelling mistake on the back, but deciding we needed to sell them anyway because we needed the money.”

From initial concept of Kudos Rock Legend to final product, Zero G and Positech had envisioned a game that capitalizes on the KUDOS brand name and utilizes simulation based criteria for achieving fun gameplay. These days, Cliffski is still a rocker, but in more subtle ways than playing lead guitar on stage. Cliffski still hones his passions and skills and has developed some of the most exciting casual download simulation games available.
